CONTEST TIIME!!!

Alright ladies and gentlemen. I have decided my contest is a go, so here is the deal:

On Sat. August 29th I will be attending FanExpo here in Toronto and I want to go dressed in a steampunk costume!

The only problem is I can't make up my mind on what i want to wear. boo-urns, I know.

So it's up to YOU to design me a badass costume to wear to the convention! yaaaaaay!



CONTEST INFO

- The contest starts today (June 17th) and ends July 22nd at midnight! This gives you a little over a month to get your entries in, and gives me a little more than a month to sew the actual costume! I unfortunately cant give extensions because I have to have enough time to buy the material and patterns and sew the costume.

- I will try to make the costume as close to your design as I can, but of course I might be limited to certain patterns or materials that might not lend itself perfectly to your design. I will try my hardest, but if I can not make your design perfectly, please don't be offended.

- Entries should be sent to me by note.

- Entries can be in whatever medium you want.

- Entries should be in color, or if not, then have a legend for what colour you want the material to be (I want to make the colors as close to your design as I can get)

---* keep in mind steampunk uses lots of neutral colors, brass, copper and tarnished silver. feel free to work with patterned materials too.

- if you need ideas for steampunk clothing, I suggest searching dA for 'steampunk' there is a lot of good inspiration on here. I also suggest you check out: [link] for some further inspiration since it focuses on steampunk fashion.

CONTEST PRIZES

First Prize:

- First prize winner will of course, get their design made into an actual costume which I will be wearing it to the convention. I will take lots of pictures for you and be sure to tell everyone who compliments me on my costume that you designed it. woot.

Also, because you are helping me out, I will give you a detailed colored drawing (traditional or digital, your choice) of a character or your OC (Up to 2 characters).

Second Prize:

- You will get a detailed pencil drawing of a character or your OC.

Third Prize:

- You will get a pencil sketch of a character or you OC.
